A Seat in the Sun

Dove, in its new global approach, reinforces its commitment to inclusion and diversity, highlighting beauty in all its forms. The brand launched a campaign called “A Seat in the Sun,” which questions whether the beach—associated with summer and Brazil’s 40-degree weather—is really democratic and welcoming to all body types.

As part of the initiative, Dove developed wider and stronger beach chairs to ensure the comfort of people with larger bodies. These chairs were distributed for free on popular beaches, integrating a larger project that includes a space in Leme, Rio de Janeiro, dedicated to discussing topics like fatphobia, accessibility, and inclusion.
